Clermont Solar Farm (Epuron)
April 2, 2019
Wall Planning Group (WPG) was engaged by Epuron to facilitate the community engagement process for the Clermont Solar Farm Project in Central Queensland.
Our Role
WPG designed and implemented a tailored engagement strategy that included a well-attended community drop-in session. The session provided local residents with the opportunity to learn more about the project and share feedback directly with the project team. The event was also attended by Ms Michelle Landry MP and Mr Lachlan Miller MP, reflecting the project’s regional significance.
Impact
The feedback collected through this consultation was instrumental in shaping the project strategy and ensuring community concerns and opportunities were properly considered.
Our Expertise
At WPG, we recognise that community consultation is an increasingly important part of the planning process. Effective engagement helps to:
- Alleviate contentious issues.
- Build strong, long-term community relationships.
- Achieve mutually beneficial project outcomes.
By combining stakeholder identification, tailored communication channels, consultation events, one-on-one discussions, and the use of media and publicity, WPG ensures each project is supported by a robust engagement framework that delivers the best possible outcome.
