Do’s

Think of the future. This sounds simple, but it is something that people often overlook. Consider how your project will age. Inertia. You want to make sure you’re keeping up to date. We recommend reconsidering the use of outdated approaches, standards, and equipment to increase the chances of success.
Illiteracy. Don’t just assume the public understands your proposal. In addition, don’t rule out the potential spread of misinformation. Failure to educate the community about all aspects of your project can drastically affect its future success.
Inconsistency. Don’t cut corners by assuming everyone is on the same page. One of the most common complaints we hear from stakeholders and businesses is that they’ve received conflicting information and unpredictable advice. Counter this by regularly updating those involved with the latest, most accurate information.
